The Typhoon Full Function is a controller and siren all-in-one solution. The controller has 6 programmable buttons to pair with any emergency vehicle light. The Typhoon is the most advanced siren for cars; with 21 police and fire tones, integrated wig-wag, air horn, horn ring, park kill and radio rebroadcast functionality. The siren comes equipped with a microphone and mounting brackets and hardware. The controller has a rotary dial to easily switch between your favorite fire and police siren tones. The Full Function has an integrated relay and covers a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase.

Wiring the Typhoon Full Function Controller

When wiring the Typhoon Full Function, please remember not to exceed 3.5Amps per button. When you overload the Typhoon Full Function Controller it may make a sound/perform a function briefly, then turn off. This is a built in safety feature that will help protect the Typhoon Full Function Controller from electrical surges.

Step 1: Run a 12-14 gauge wire to a known good grounding location, we recommend the batteries negative terminal. Once ran, connect the ground wire to the 12v-DC slot on the Typhoon Full Function.

Step 2: Run a 12-14 gauge wire to your batteries 12v+ terminal and wire that into the Typhoon Full Function 12v+DC slot.

Step 3: Begin wiring in your products to the Typhoon Full Function

Step 4: Program the buttons on the Typhoon Full Function Controller to match what you have wired into the unit or desired functionalities.

Step 5: Test Functionality. If some products do not work, please inspect your wiring for defects.

This siren is truly one of the best!!

The Typhoon siren was an amazing buy! Durable, cost effective and very loud and clear. I wanted to go with a Whelen siren, liked the sounds, the reliability and the iconic 'wind up' only sound that would always make me hit my steering wheel when I heard it behind me. But simply put this is a FAR BETTER DEAL! Far less than half the cost of a Whelen siren and on top of that to have an integrated light controller and PA system for only $199 dollars? Not only that but the quality is unmatched by anyone but Whelen. The speaker, the Triton is ear piercingly loud. So loud that when I activated the Mechanical Q tone people 3 miles from my home could hear me. And last but certaintly not least the hidden tones. It is just so cool because this is a Fire and EMS rated professional siren and light system but they still have fun with it! The Jurassic Park and Nightrider hidden tones killed it. Clean, professional, cost effective, loud and fun.
